Bill
Yanek, Executive Director
Bill Yanek graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1992, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas in 2000. He is also a Major in the United States Army Reserve, serving in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. Bill was a State Issues Advocate for the Washington, DC-based Real Estate Services Providers Council (RESPRO®) before coming to ASC. Prior to that, Yanek served as the Director of Governmental Relations for the Kansas Association of Realtors. He has also served as the Government Affairs Director for the Manhattan and Topeka Builder-Realtor Coalitions. Bill's professional memberships include the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Kansas Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in Kansas.
Sara
Neiswanger, Account Executive
Sara Neiswanger earned her Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in marketing and management from Washburn
University in May 2006. Sara's role for the organization includes planning and coordinating
all logistics of KCHP meetings and conferences, member services and
recruitment, facilitating webinars for meetings or presentations, management
of client projects in relation to their target
completion date, KCHP professional correspondence and monitoring the
KCHP budget in comparison with income and expenses.
Professionally, she is a member of the Kansas Society of Association
Executives and the American Society of Association Executives. In
the Topeka community, she is involved with the Family Service and
Guidance Center, the Junior League of Topeka and the Kappa Alpha
Theta women’s fraternity.
Brian
Pitman, Director of Marketing and Communications
Brian Pitman attended Kansas State University,
studying chemical engineering and political science. He spent
eight years in the political field, as Director of Communications
for the Kansas House of Representatives Taxation Committee and
Appropriations Committee. He also served as Campaign Manager or
Communications Director for several campaigns. Brian maintains
and develops the KCHP information network and website, as well as
development and management of all communications and marketing
efforts for KCHP. Brian is currently a member of the American
Marketing Association, the American Society of Association
Executives and the Kansas Society of Association Executives.
Carol
Land, Office Manager
Carol Land has more than 25 years' experience in providing services in a professional environment. Carol's vast experience in the association field is paired with her extensive volunteer work for several local and national organizations. Carol manages the daily administrative and clerical resources for KCHP and has responsibility for maintaining all KCHP databases and membership directories, coordination of KCHP mailings and processing all KCHP meeting registrations and reservations.
